Manchester University values Faith, because our diverse faiths call us to make the world a kinder and better place, establish justice, build peace amid strife, and model lives of agape (selfless love), tikkun olam (repairing a broken world), and salam (peace) —Manchester University Values Statement

With roots in the Church of the Brethren, Manchester University is committed to sustaining a community of faith, learning, and service. Religious life on campus is facilitated staff and student ministry assistants, Campus Interfaith Board (a student board), and various student groups.

The Religious Life program includes activities such as weekly ecumenical chapel check-in (Wednesdays at 12 p.m.), Fellowship of Christian Athletes, denominational groups, discussion groups and other small group opportunities, Bible studies, service projects, periodic interfaith events and special emphasis weeks, retreats, guest speakers, and more.
